Largs gymnast to represent Scotland at Commonwealth Games
A coach from Largs Gymnastics Club is set to compete in this summer’s Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.
David Weir will compete as part of Team Scotland’s men’s artistic squad, after coming through a tough selection process to win his place.
A spokesperson for LGC said: “We are delighted David has been selected for his second Commonwealth Games all of his hard work and dedication has secured him a place.
“Congratulations to David and all of the gymnasts who have been selected, we can’t wait to watch you at the games.”
The games start on July 28 and run until August 8.
